Darktrace’s technology, powered by mathematics and machine learning developed at the University of Cambridge, detects subtle changes in behaviour within computer networks. Unlike traditional approaches, Darktrace’s ‘immune system’ monitors network traffic in real-time, without requiring prior knowledge or rules, allowing companies to spot the early indicators of external and insider threats, before a crisis occurs.
With more than 200 employees – a headcount that has tripled in the past year – and 18 global offices including in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Korea and Singapore, Darktrace is expanding internationally at an exponential rate. Since the opening of Darktrace’s regional headquarters in Singapore in March 2015 and the company’s Japan office launch in July 2015, more than 80 organisations are currently deploying Darktrace’s Enterprise Immune System appliance across the Asia-Pacific region.
