Indian financial corporation Muthoot Fincorp has collaborated with Singapore-based financial technology firm MatchMove to deliver a customised payment system that includes a virtual card, a physical card, an online dashboard and
a mobile application packaged in an integrated mobile wallet called Blue
InnerCircle.
Blue InnerCircle is a reloadable mobile wallet issued under the license of YES Bank that can be used for shopping online, and is accepted by MasterCard partner merchants worldwide. It comes in two forms: a virtual card specifically for use in online transactions, and a physical card by MasterCard. Designed with non-credit cardholders in mind, it can be obtained through a sign-up process facilitated online.
Blue InnerCircle features peer-to-peer (P2P) fund transfer, money remittance and expense disbursement, as well as direct links to offers and loyalty facilities. These transactions can easily be made through the Blue InnerCircle mobile app. Given the growing number of mobile phone users in the country who actively rely on their devices to perform a myriad of payment transactions, Blue InnerCircle is the perfect go-to product for active mobile users.
Blue InnerCircle enables users to activate multiple cards and allows secure online transactions. Every time a user attempts to make a payment, a unique security code is generated through the Blue InnerCircle app.
Gitesh Athavale, Senior Vice President and General Manager of MatchMove said, “We believe that the future of payment is virtual, and we share the common goal of consistently innovating our products and enhancing the development process to bring value to end users.”
Gaurav Mittal, MatchMove’s Regional Director of South Asia, added, “The launch of Blue InnerCircle is highly anticipated as there has been a rapid growth in mobile wallet adoption in India. Soon, millions more will be able to shop online, pay bills, and send and receive money, all through Blue InnerCircle.”
