Crunchfish has announced the next generation of its Touchless A3D software, now optimised for virtual reality (VR) and with gestures specifically designed for VR interaction. With its advanced motion-tracking, it works with any VR device with a camera.

Crunchfish gesture control software for VR adds a new dimension to the experience by empowering users to interact with their favourite videos using gestures. Users can activate the video control menu with a 'pinch' gesture instead of having to use another device like a Bluetooth controller, or take off the headset. The result is a VR interaction experience that is more intuitive.

“Touchless gesture interaction is the natural way to control VR headsets. With VR content exploding on the market there is a need for gestures in most future devices. We are proud to offer a world class gesture solution to our customers for navigation and control of VR content,” says Joakim Nydemark, CEO, Crunchfish.
