Cloud Expo Asia and Data Centre World set to touch down in Singapore on 12 October

The fourth edition of Cloud Expo Asia and Data Centre World, Singapore comes to the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre will run from 12 to 13 October 2016. Joining event organiser CloserStill Media’s technology event portfolio will be the inaugural Cloud Security Expo, a dedicated event covering the security needs of cloud service providers and organisations adopting cloud technology.

2016 will see the introduction of a brand new event feature, Smart IoT Singapore, where visitors can learn and explore how the Internet of Things is transforming business.

New to the Asia event series, Data Centre World will showcase its a 'live’ data centre, the DCW Green Data Centre. Housing products from over 20 sponsors, the DCW Green Data Centre will showcase the practical implementation of products from cooling units and fans, to cables and raised flooring.

The events will also host a Women in Technology Panel featuring May-Ann Lim, Executive Director, Asia Cloud Computing Association; Barb Dossetter, Advisory Services at CIO Connect; Kaisu Christie, Head of Digital & Innovation at Bank of Queensland; Tejaswini Tilak, Director, Global Vertical Strategy & Marketing at Equinix and Emma Mourad, Regional Manager SEA at Linkedin.

The events are expected to welcome over 13,000 IT professionals from across the cloud and data centre ecosystems, offering visitors insights from keynote presentations, case studies and expert panel discussions. The international lineup of over 300 expert speakers are from organisations such as JP Morgan, Siam Commercial Bank, PayPal, LinkedIn, Google, BookDoc, BT, Orange Business Services, INTERPOL, China Cities Bluebook, Yahoo!, SAP, Japan Airlines, Standard Chartered Bank, Lonely Planet, Eltek ASA and Ernest & Young.

Senior decision makers will have the exclusive opportunity to test and compare solutions, products and services presented by over 300 leading international suppliers including Dell EMC, Rackspace, StarHub, CenturyLink, Huawei, Fujitsu, AWS, NTT Communications, DataPipe, Digital Realty, Sophos, Tata Communications, Accenture, Red Hat, Bitdefender, Huber + Suhner, Intel, IBM, NetApp, Pentair and Equinix.
