Circles.Life, Singapore’s fourth postpaid operator and the only digital telco, is adding on to the flexibility of its existing plan with practically unlimited data for S$20 a month.
"Our mission is providing an exceptional customer experience to customers and giving them control," said Rameez Ansar, Circles.Life Co-Founder and Director. "'They don't want minutes and SMSes any more. They want products centred on data."
In just over six months since its full commercial launch, Circles.Life has the leading no-contract plan in Singapore, the company said, listing achievements such as a satisfaction score of 90% against the industry benchmark of 60% to 70%. Circles.Life has introduced many industry firsts such as free caller ID, free unlimited WhatsApp, unlimited bonus data in response to customer needs. Some subscribers have qualified for as much as 56.5 extra GB a month.
"We attribute 30% to 40% of our growth to our customer referral programme," said Megan Yulga, Marketing Manger, Circles.Life.
Ansar also said that being a digital company has allowed Circles.Life to be more agile. "Our cloud-based platform allows us to launch products very fast, perform analytics on customers, and see which things are working and which things don't," said Ansar.

Other digital-related achievements for the company include 95% of service queries coming through digital channels, 99.8% of subscribers installing the CirclesCare app, and 30% using it daily. The app has a high score of 4.7+ at Apple App store and Google Play store.
New subscribers can opt for the 20GB Data Plus option on top of their Base Plan of S$28/month for up to 6GB of mobile data, upon sign-up on the Circles.Life website. Current Circles.Life customers on the Base Plan can add on the 20GB Data Plus option via the CirclesCare app. This is on top of any Unlimited Bonus Data that customers have accrued.
The Data Plus option puts Circles.Life in a strong market position versus incumbents or new entrants, Ansar said. "We are already the leading no-contract mobile plan in Singapore. Circles.Life believes innovation and an unwavering focus on the customer is key to entering and winning any telco market. In Singapore, we are on track to achieving a high single digit market share within a few years,” he said. "We're on track to get 4 to 6% of the Singapore market in a few years."
"As long as you are the innovator and as long as you can introduce new products and new things and as long as you can satisfy the customer, as long as we can do it, we will win and I think the customer will win at the same time," he added.

Circles.Life also acknowledged its long-term partnership with Singapore telco M1, calling it a win-win. The company rides on M1's mobile network, and has direct access to M1's transmission towers.
