CA Technologies announces new APJ VP for security

CA Technologies has appointed Gene Ng as VP Security, Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). Based in Singapore, Ng will drive CA’s Security business in APJ to help customers make security a competitive advantage.

Ng brings close to two decades of security industry experience and a strong track record in building security software businesses in APJ. He started his career with Price Waterhouse (now PwC). Thereafter, he founded a business focused on security product distribution, services and training that became one of the top security value added distributors in the region. Prior to joining CA, Ng served as the regional leader and business unit executive for the ASEAN region at IBM Security. He has also held senior leadership positions at Blue Coat, Motorola Solutions and 3Com.

Ng holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
