Oman LNG to set up centre for innovation, robotics and AI

Oman Liquefied Natural Gas is to set up an Innovation, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Technology Center at the General Directorate of Education in the governorate of South Al Batinah, the Oman News Agency has reported.

The centre is to be established during the academic year 2018/2019. The academic year began on 2 September.

The agreement comes within the framework of a public-private partnership between the private sector and government-backed educational institutions to increase learning efficiency. The project includes the supply of devices, tools, and services for scientific innovation, robotics and artificial intelligence in the wilayah of Rustaq.
