The Great Christmas Village at Ngee Ann City is a focal point for festivity, hosting a Hitachi Santa House with complimentary craft activities for children and Santa meet-and-greet sessions, in addition to the Timbre X Food Village & Bar.

Hitachi has been the main sponsor of the annual Christmas Light-up since 1991. In remarks at the Orchard Road Christmas Light-up ceremony in Singapore Chairman of Hitachi Asia Kojin Nakakita emphasised that contributing to society has always been important for the Hitachi group.
The continued sponsorship for the Orchard Road Christmas Light-up shows Hitachi's commitment to give back to society, he said, ending with a promise to support the event for many years to come.
As part of Hitachi’s CSR programme for its staff, Hitachi will also be providing food bundles paid by staff donations to selected service users of The Food Bank Singapore on 7 December, 2018. Additionally, service users will experience amusement rides at The Great Christmas Village, make a wish at the Hitachi Santa House, and take family portraits at the photo booth.
