Mercedes-Benz Financial Services adds Apple Watch app


Mercedes-Benz Financial Services (MBFS) Singapore continues its digital outreach with the myMBFS app for the Apple Watch, which was developed as a partnership between Daimler Financial Services Africa & Asia Pacific and Singaporean app developer Appvantage.

Nearly one in three customers who finance their vehicle with MBFS visit the MBFS customer online portal to access their vehicle’s account information. As part of on-going initiatives to enhance the customer experience, MBFS decided to reach out further with the myMBFS app for Apple Watch, allowing customers to receive up-to-date information on their finance contracts via a glance at the wrist. 

Information such as the number of remaining payments for an instalment plan and the next payment due date are presented in an infographic on the watch face. In addition, customers can choose to be notified via the Apple Watch whenever a payment is due or has been successfully completed.

“The addition of the Apple Watch app is a reflection of our commitment to enhancing our customers’ experience with the use of the latest in mobile technology,” commented Andreas Hinrichs, Director – Regional Management at Daimler Financial Services Africa & Asia Pacific.
