2024 corporate highlights: The sneak peek

Every company has had much to be excited about over the past 12 months, and some of them will be featured in 2024 corporate milestones posts this year.

April saw Tricentis unveil Testim Copilot. "Generative AI (gen AI) is a key part of our product strategy, given that AI-augmented DevOps tools can save developers more than 40 hours each month, allowing them to focus their efforts on more strategic priorities. Our copilots like Testim Copilot leverage gen AI to help developers create, understand and fix custom test steps more quickly through interactive prompts, allowing them to develop high-quality tests faster," explained Damien Wong, Senior VP, APAC at Tricentis.

Veeam acquired Coveware the same month. "2024 saw Veeam Software’s acquisition of Coveware in April which brought world-class cyber-extortion incident response to our solution portfolio. We incorporated select capabilities of Coveware by Veeam into our existing offerings including Veeam Data Platform (VDP) and Veeam Cyber Secure (VCS) Program, delivering insights and capabilities to a broader set of customers," said Beni Sia, GM and Senior VP of APJ at Veeam Software.

Colt Technology Services, on the other hand, unveiled its Southeast Asia expansion strategy in June, introducing services in Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Taiwan. "This move aligns with Colt’s commitment to supporting the growth of Singaporean and global businesses in the region," said Yasutaka Mizutani, APAC President, Colt Technology Services.
